General purpose loudspeaker cables similar in construction to 2-core and 4-core mains cables, but manufactured specifically for use as loudspeaker feeds. Cores are twisted, coloured red and black (GPS) or red, black, violet and grey (GPS4), and the cable is marked “Loudspeaker cable” to clearly distinguish it from mains cables for safety reasons.
